RACQ Motor Fest 2009

RACQ MotorFest 2009 will be held on Sunday 28 June 2009 from 10am - 3pm at Eagle Farm Racecourse, Lancaster Road, Ascot.

RACQ MotorFest 2009 is fully subscribed, with 800 vintage, veteran, classic and special interest vehicles registered for the event. Sunday 28 June is going to be a great day out for the family. Come along to Eagle Farm Racecourse, Lancaster Road, Ascot, and see some of the State’s best collectible vehicles – and a whole lot more.

NEW ATTRACTIONS!
MotorFest will excite and entertain the young and the young-at-heart this year with a variety of activities and attractions including:
- Kids’ Corner featuring rides, face painters and The Wiggles Big Red Car
- Australian Idol Top 10 Finalist Chrislyn Hamilton performing live on the main stage
- Mitsubishi Evo Simulators – the closest you’ll get to rally car racing without a licence
- Wilson Security V8 Supercar team and autograph signing by driver, Fabian Coulthard
- Fashion parades by Petrol Boutique
- Trader Central
- Wine and cheese tasting
- Roving entertainers including the Crash Test Dummies, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, live musicians and more!

There are also lots of prizes to be won! Be sure to complete a visitor feedback form for your chance to win an 8-lap V8 Supercar Experience thanks to Queensland Raceways.

PARKING
Limited off road parking is available for $5 per vehicle in the venue’s car parks on Lancaster Road. Additional parking will be available at Doomben Racecourse for $5 per vehicle and a free park and ride service to the main entrance of the event will operate. Access to the Doomben car park is off Nudgee Road.

Disabled parking is available within the grounds of the Eagle Farm Racecourse. Access for disabled parking is via McGill Avenue only.

INFORMATION FOR VEHICLE EXHIBITORS
Registrations for the event have reached capacity and no further registrations will be accepted before, or on the day of, the event.

Information packs outlining important details will be distributed to exhibitors by mail on 12 June 2009.
